In the traditional Igbo spiritual system, Chineke and Chukwu are both names for the Creator God:
Chineke is the creator of the universe and everything good in it along with rain, trees, and other plants. Chukwu is a supreme deity represented by the sun. The ancient deity is not humanized in Igbo tradition.
IN COMPARISON:
In Chinese philosophy, chi (also known as qi) is a vital force or life energy that is believed to be present in all things. The word chi literally translates to "vapor", "air", or "breath". In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), chi is considered the most important energy in a person and is believed to be essential for good health. In Classical Chinese Philosophy, chi is said to be the force that binds all things in the universe together. 🌐

Igbo cosmology is the traditional belief system of the Igbo people of southeastern Nigeria. It includes a variety of beliefs, including:
@Africanjesu:
"The Divine spark that created everything in the entire Universe is inside of every atom in your body"
Chukwu - Chi Ukwu. The primordial core, the sum of all our individual Chi [and more].
Chi na Eke - Chineke. The Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine. The spark and ignition of Life. ⚡
Odinani, also known as Odinala, Omenala, Odinana, and Omenana (Igbo: Ọdịnanị/Ọ̀dị̀nàlà), is the traditional cultural belief and practice of the Igbo people of south east Nigeria. These terms, as used here in the Igbo language, are synonymous with the traditional Igbo "religious system" which was not considered separate from the social norms of ancient or traditional Igbo societies. Theocratic in nature, spirituality played a huge role in their everyday lives. Although it has largely been syncretised with Catholicism, the indigenous belief system remains in strong effect among the rural, village and diaspora populations of the Igbo. Odinani can be found in Haitian Voodoo, Obeah, Santeria and even Candomblé. Odinani is a pantheistic and polytheistic faith, having a strong central deity at its head. All things spring from this deity. Although a pantheon of other gods and spirits, these being Ala, Amadiọha, Anyanwụ, Ekwensu, Ikenga, exists in the belief system, as it does in many other Traditional African religions, the lesser deities prevalent in Odinani serve as helpers or elements of Chukwu, the central deity.
Lesser spirits known as ágbàrà or árúsí operate below the other gods and higher spirits. These lesser spirits represent natural forces; agbara as a divine force manifests as separate arụsị in the Igbo pantheon. A concept of 'the eye of sun or God' (Anyanwu, Igbo: ányá ánwụ́) exists as a masculine and feminine solar deity which forms a part of the solar veneration among the Nri-Igbo in northern Igboland. Arụsị are mediated by Dibia and other priests who do not contact the high god directly. Through áfà, 'divination', the laws and demands of the arụsị are communicated to the living. Arụsị are venerated in community shrines around roadsides and forests while smaller shrines are located in the household for ancestor veneration. Deceased ancestors live in the spirit world where they can be contacted. Below the arụsị are minor and more general spirits known as mmúọ loosely defined by their perceived malevolent or benign natures. These minor spirits are not venerated and are sometimes considered the lost souls of the dead. Ancestor veneration and the worship of various gods and spirits, form the main component of the traditional Igbo religion, standing in contrast with Abrahamic religions.
The number of people practicing Igbo religion decreased drastically in the 20th century with the influx of Christian missionaries under the auspices of the British colonial government in Nigeria. In some cases, Igbo traditional religion practice known as ọdịnala was syncretised with Christianity, but in many cases indigenous rites were demonised by Christian missionaries. Earlier missionaries referred to many indigenous religious practices as juju. Igbo religion is most present today in harvest ceremonies such as new yam festival (ị́wá jí) and masquerading traditions such as mmanwụ and Ekpe.
Remnants of Igbo religious rites spread among African descendants in the Caribbean and North America in era of the Atlantic slave trade. Igbo ọ́bị̀à was transferred to the British West Indies and Guyana as obeah and aspects of Igbo masquerading traditions can be found among the festivals of the Garifuna people and jonkonnu in the West Indies and North Carolina. 🌱

THE PRECOLONIAL SLAVE TRADE OF IGBO'S🛑
It is estimated that a total of 1.4 million Igbo people were transported (via European ships) across the Atlantic in the era of Atlantic slave trade Many Igbos were also slave raiders.Igbo slaves were mostly taken to Jamaica, Haiti, Cuba, Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, St Lucia, St Kitts and Nevis.
With the goal for freedom, enslaved Igbo people were known to European planters as being rebellious and having a high rate of suicide to escape slavery. There is evidence that traders sought Igbo Womxn. 🐾

In this video I discuss Ala (also known as Ali, Ani, Ane) The Goddess of the Earth in Igbo cosmology. Ala is the mother, guardian, and judge of the living and dead. Ala is the source of reincarnation, justice, authority and righteousness in Odinala.
"It is important to remember that Womxn aka Hua and Ala are one. All feminine existences are one single entity in the Igbo thought system. It is for this reason that a violation against Womxn is a violation against The Universe Herself. At the same time what Ala can give which is birth, rebirth and abundance also come from/through the Womxn. Often female children are given names that allude to wealth, motherhood, success and abundance for this reason."
"One divinity, was beyond the capriciousness of Igbo men: that divinity is neither Igwe, nor even Chukwu, but Ala, the Goddess of the Earth. She was the one deity, which no man or woman and no community could afford to offend, much less discard.
If ever there was a supreme God among the Igbo it was Ala. A crisis in our institutions has obscured this fact."
— M. J. C. Echeruo (1979), "Afamefuna: A Matter of Identity."

Mbari is a visual art form practiced by the Igbo people in southeast Nigeria consisting of a sacred two- story house constructed as a propitiatory rite. Mbari houses of the Owerri-Igbo, which are large opened-sided square planned shelters contain many life-sized, painted figures (sculpted in mud to appease the Alusi (deity) and Ala, the earth goddess, with other deities of thunder and water). Mbari houses are made as a gift to Ala, as a way to acknowledge Ala's charitable and overarching presence. Some Mbari houses are dedicated strictly and solely to Ala. Sometimes, however, other gods are represented along with Ala in the structure. Other sculptures which could be included are of officials, craftsmen, foreigners (mainly Europeans), animals, legendary creatures and ancestors. Mbari houses take years to build and building them is regarded as sacred. Along with being representations of abundances and harmony, they are most usually created during times of peace and stability. A ceremony is performed within the structure for a gathering of town leaders. After the ritual is complete, going in or even looking at the Mbari house is considered taboo. Mbari are public shrine galleries where complex characters of Igbo mythology, folklore, and society are fleshed out in termite earth.
"Mbari is a deity closely associated with Anị, the earth goddess. She is the divine guardian of the ritualistic art form, also known as Mbari."
As an art form, Mbari is a ritual of art and peacemaking, usually undertaken to placate the earth goddess, Anị, in the event of a catastrophe befalling the community.
In his book, Mbari: Art as Process in Igboland, Herbert Cole aptly describes the concept thus: “The monument is a merging of architecture, sculpture, bas relief, and painting, designed and executed as a work of art, as well as a major offering to an unseen but ever-present God, in this case the goddess of the very Earth upon which people walk, the source of food plants and animals, and the main arbiter of tradition and moral law.”
This art form is indigenous to the Owerri people of Imo state. Only adults can participate in Mbari, which could take upwards of two years to complete.

The word for sibling in Igbo language is “nwanne.” It’s two words.
“Nwa” means child
“Nne” means mother.
It means mother’s child, so I don’t think you people understand how deep the word is. The child belongs to the mother, not the father. Crying won’t change this fact
Dear Igbo people, "Nwa" is Nwanne, not Nwanna.
Traditionally, children BELONG to the mother, first and foremost before anyone else.
That is why your direct sibling(s) are known your "Nwanne" and "Umunne", not "Nwanna" or "Umunna".
That is why before colonialism, children bore their mother's names.

If you haven’t made the connection, I’m talking about the dreamscape. Whether or not you’re remembering it, you’re constantly interacting with various spirits, as well as exploring your own subconscious mind in your dreams. The Igbo word for dream is nrọ, and that is the also the name of this step. Ndi Igbo, like most people around the world, placed a very large significance to dreams. In fact, an argument could be made that the dreamland (ala nrọ) is the primary place for spiritual experiences, whether its while one is asleep or while awake (i.e a vision, known in Igbo as ihu ọhụụ).
Agwu Nsi (known as Agwo Nsi in the Americas) is the Arusi of divination. The earth is inhabited by Agwu, a spiritual entity that goes beyond a mere force. Agwu possesses intellectual and volitive faculties, exerting significant influence on human affairs. Revered as the patron spirit of the dibia (diviner-healer) and the source of inspiration for exceptionally talented individuals, Agwu is closely associated with humanity's pursuit of fulfillment in society. It is believed that Agwu plays a role in enforcing various determinations, with the sick attributing their fate to him, creatively gifted individuals crediting his benevolent influence, and dibia being believed to be possessed by him.
Alusi of Time, Success and Achievement
For the Novel by Nnedi Okorafor, see Ikenga (novel).
Ikenga (Igbo literal meaning "strength of majesty ") is a horned Alusi found among the Igbo people in southeastern Nigeria. It is one of the most popular symbols of the Igbo people. Astrologically, Ikenga’s governing planet is Mars, element is Fire and its sacred number is 3. Ikenga is mostly maintained, kept or owned by men and womxn of high reputation and integrity in the society. It comprises someone's Chi (personal god), his Ndichie (ancestors), aka Ikenga (right hand), ike (power) as well as spiritual activation through prayer and sacrifice.
Proverbs and Prayers Associated with Ikenga:
"IKENGA"
A person's Ikenga is his passion, reason our Ancestors describe it as "the strength of a man's right arm".
IKÉNGÀ is short form of IKE-M- JI-A-GA=My driving force.
IKÉNGÀ is the Electronic Appliance, AGWỤ̀ is the electricity that powers it.
Hope you were able to decode what Ikenga and Agwu stands for now?
In Igbo culture, prayers to ancestors are often made to ask for long life, wealth, peace, and fairness. The Igbo believe that ancestors, or Ndiichie or Ndibunze, are men and women who lived good lives and continue to exist in the spiritual world. They also believe that ancestors protect their living descendants.
“The Ndiichie (esteemed ancestor spirits) also held a high place in traditional Igbo society. Elders have always been revered in Igbo society, and even more so after they passed onto Be Mmuo (the land of the spirits). The Ndiichie would often be consulted to offer advice to their descendants and appeal to the Alusi on their behalf. Ndi Igbo have never worshiped their ancestors only venerated them, which is no different then what Catholics do to their saints or what every country does to its national heroes. Respect and honor for the Ndiichie was shown in one way by pouring of libations while chanting incantations. Ndi Igbo believed in the concept of reincarnation and felt that the Ndiichie often reincarnated back on Earth. In fact, all Mmadu (human beings) were believed to reincarnate seven or eight times, and that depending on your karma, one either ascends or descends into another spiritual plane” – Onyemobi
Ancestral veneration is a very ancient and common practice all over the world. The Igbo people have understood the importance of honoring the Ndichie (Venerated Ancestors) in order for the civilization to survive and progress from times immemorial. One of the reasons Igbos and Africans in general are in a state of damnation is because we have forgotten how to honor our ancestors.
Figure in an ancestral shrine
Instead of developing our own culture as a people, we see Western culture as superior to our own and trap ourselves in an inferiority complex. Yes despite hardcore resistance against the Atlantic slave trade, British colonialism, and the Nigerian genocide against our people we ended up losing. Yes our Civilizations collapsed. Yes Nigeria continues to discriminate and oppress Igbo people. We have suffered a lot and nobody shall ever down play that. However, until we remember to honor our ancestors, we will continue on the path of self destruction our enemies have planted for us.
Uxurhe Ancestral Staffs
The Igbo people are one of the most ancient groups in the world. Like most African groups and civilizations in ancient times had advanced human consciousness, culture, knowledge, creativity, leadership, philosophy, science, and etc. True civilizations respect, honor, and live in accordance to Nature. We once understood the oneness of the Source/Creator (Chineke) with Creation and our relationship with Nature (Ani).
[An Igbo] spirit worker painting the walls of an mbari nearing completion. Note the double Mami Wata images at left. Photo 1930s. — Herbert Cole, 1988.
We honored and respected Ani. That is why we had rich societies and collective democratic leadership that lived by justice, order, peace, unity, and balance. Our ancestors built many ancient civilizations such as the Ugwelle (6000 BCE), Afikpo (3000 BCE), Nsukka (3000 BCE), UmuEri/UmuNri dynasties (500 BCE), Igbo Ukwu (900 CE), and etc. We developed sophisticated architecture such as the Nsude pyramids in Agbaja, Mbari structures, and etc. Igbos developed writing scripts such as Uli, Aniocha writing systems, Nsidibi, Ikwu, and many more. The level of knowledge and scientific (especially metaphysics) discoveries and practices done by the Igbo Civilizations is most likely beyond our imagination. We have a long history of achievements.
Igbo Ukwu Burial
In order for us Igbo people to really rebuild and progress, we must honor our ancestors. We shall not live exactly how our ancestors lived but revive the institutions they built that are applicable today and improve on it. How can you know what today and tomorrow will be if you don’t yesterday was? How can you know who you are if you don’t know who brought you here? The ancestors brought us here and as a mixture of all of them into one, we must know who they were to know who we are. We may say we are children of the ultimate source of all creation and life (Chineke). But through who are we children of Chineke? Who did Chineke give power to bring us into this world and gave life? The answer is our ancestors. Therefore, we must honor and respect them. To honor the ancestors is to honor ourselves and the ultimate ancestor/source of us all Chineke. Chi (God)
Bless

Alaigbo means "the land of the Igbos". The Igbos are a West African ethnic group who live in Igboland, also known as Ala Igbo or Ani Igbo.
Explanation
The Igbos are known for their economic exploration and entrepreneurship. They have lived in Igboland for thousands of years. Before European colonialism, the Igbos lived in localized communities.
The Igbo religion is based on Odinani, a polytheistic and pantheistic faith. The supreme deity in Odinani is Chukwu/Chineke, who is believed to control everything on Earth and in the spiritual world.
The Igbo pantheon also includes Ala, the earth goddess and spirit of fertility. Ala is considered the highest Alusi in the Igbo pantheon.

How Britain was involved
Abolition of the slave trade
Legacy
Britain's involvement in the slave trade has had a lasting legacy; their continued exploitation of Africa and her Children is the sole reason anyone pretends this shithole is or has ever been a "superpower". A truly third world nation - with no sun.
Britain compensated slave owners with £20 million in 1833 when it abolished slavery. The money was paid to slave owners for the loss of their "property". However, the money was not paid to the enslaved people themselves.
How was the compensation paid?
Why was the compensation paid?

Biafra (/biˈæfrə/ bee-AF-rə), officially the Republic of Biafra, was a partially recognised state in West Africa that declared independence from Nigeria and existed from 1967 until 1970. Its territory consisted of the former Eastern Region of Nigeria, predominantly inhabited by the Igbo ethnic group. Biafra was established on 30 May 1967 by Igbo military officer and Eastern Region governor Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu under his presidency, following a series of ethnic tensions and military coups after Nigerian independence in 1960 that culminated in the 1966 anti-Igbo pogrom.
The Nigerian military attempted to reclaim the territory of Biafra, resulting in the start of the Nigerian Civil War. Biafra was officially recognised by Gabon, Haiti, Côte d'Ivoire, Tanzania, and Zambia. After nearly three years of war, during which around three million Biafran civilians died, president Ojukwu fled into exile in Ivory Coast as the Nigerian military approached the capital of Biafra. Philip Effiong became the second president of Biafra, and he oversaw the surrender of Biafran forces to Nigeria.
Alongside the concurrent Vietnam War, the Nigerian Civil War was one of the first wars in human history to be televised to a global audience. In mid-1968, images of malnourished and starving Biafran children saturated the mass media of Western countries. The plight of the starving Biafrans became a cause célèbre in foreign countries, enabling a significant rise in the funding and prominence of international non-governmental organisations (NGOs). Biafra received international humanitarian aid from civilians during the Biafran airlift, an event which inspired the formation of Doctors Without Borders following the end of the war.
Igbo nationalism became a strong political and social force after the civil war. It has grown more militant since the 1990s, calling for the independence of the Biafran people and the establishment of their state. Various Biafran secessionist groups have emerged, such as the Indigenous People of Biafra, the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, and BIAFRANS ON REDRUM 178 aka THE PEOPLES ARMY 178 aka ALA-KEBULAN MILITARY 187.
On the 50th anniversary of the end of the Biafran war, the world’s worst humanitarian crisis in the late 1960s, declassified British files show that Harold Wilson’s government secretly armed and backed Nigeria’s aggression against the secessionist region.
The then Labour government secretly provided large quantities of arms to the Nigerian federal government which, by early 1970, had crushed an attempt by the country’s eastern region of Biafra to gain independence, which it had declared in May 1967.
During the three years of war, up to three million people died, as Nigeria enforced a blockade on Biafra, causing widespread starvation amid considerable international opposition to the conflict.
British policy was mainly shaped by its oil interests, declassified government documents from the time show. “Our direct interests are trade and investment, including an important stake by Shell/BP in the eastern region,” the Foreign Office noted a few days before the outbreak of the war in 1967.
Investments by Shell/BP—then a joint company in Nigeria which was partly owned by the British government—amounted to around £200-million at the time. The company was the largest producer of oil in Nigeria, most of which was in Biafra.
Shell “have much to lose if the FMG [federal military government] do not achieve the expected victory,” George Thomas, Labour’s commonwealth minister, noted in August 1967. He added: “The sole immediate British interest in Nigeria is that the Nigerian economy should be brought back to a condition in which our substantial trade and investment in the country can be further developed, and particularly so we can regain access to important oil installations.”
At the height of the war in 1969, 12,000 people day starved in Biafra. More than 50 years later and the violent persecution of the Biafran people by the Nigerian continues unabated.[+]
NB: The largest groups are the Hausa in the north, Yoruba in the southwest and the Igbo in the southeast, who account for around 70% of the population.

Dear Black Americans,
I hate to be the one to break it to you, but the #BlackPantherMovie was not made with you in mind 😢
Everything about Disney’s “Blackest Production Ever” was strategic, including its target audience:
‘Continental Africans’
> We all know that Disney is great when it comes to creating enchanting cinematography, so we can’t be too hard on ourselves for being easily spellbound by the rich blackness displayed through the lens of Ryan Coogler.
> This movie was made for one reason, and one reason only— to ensure that the growing youth population, across the continent, rejects any ideology based upon race, or any concepts of global racial solidarity, as a means of overthrowing White hegemonic rule.
> The African continent currently has the fastest growing, and youngest, population across the planet. This poses a significant threat for the many nations seeking to disposes Africans of their homeland, in an attempt to claim African resources for their own progeny.
> For those of us who have studied the history of the Global Black Liberation Movement, we know that there have been two particular ideologies the western powers have gone out of their way, to prevent from penetrating the consciousness of Continental Africans—
> 1. African Nationalism (Garveyism)
2. Pan Africanism also referred to as Pan Negroism.
> Now, if you were unaware of this history (which many of us are), and you walked into the theatre, simply wanting to be entertained, you would be completely clueless of the many ways in which Black Panther was used to demonize these concepts for its target audience.
> Pay attention, the only two characters that have a connection with the African Diaspora are painted as treacherous, an evil villains. This was not done by mistake.
> Killmonger’s father, in many ways, represents the Continental Africans that came to the West during the mid-20th century. Many were radicalized by Black Liberation Ideology, only for them to go back to their native lands, lead revolutions, and be murdered by their own brothers.
> Our ancestor Patrice Lumumba immediately comes to mind, but there are numerous others who were met with similar fates. **The irony here is, Patrice Lumumba’s assassination was orchestrated by the same CIA that was granted a magical pass in Disney’s fictional kingdom of Wakanda.
> If I am a young ‘Continental African’ watching this film, and I’m completely devoid of any actual history regarding Pan Africansim, I’m leaving the theatre with 3 clear messages:
> 1. Black Americans are angry, and their rage will tear the world apart
2. The relationship between the Africans brought to the west in chains, and those left behind is not salvageable
3. Pan Africanism as an idea is solely focused on replacing white oppressors with black ones
> If you walked away from the theatre with this impression, then Disney’s (Read: The United States Govt) $200 million investment was money well spent. [+]

“I am Igbo”, Reggae Icon, Buju Banton Reveals.
The captured Igbo people that were sent to Jamaica were noted to be the most difficult to control. More slaves came from South East (Bight of Biafra) to Jamaica than any other part of Africa. Jamaica is famous for its unruly attitude, resistance to oppression and its many slave revolts. #bujubanton

The Berlin Conference of 1884-1885 was attended by representatives from 14 European countries, the United States, and the Ottoman Empire. The main powers were Britain, France, and Germany.
(2025 marks 140/141 years since this satanic fuckery🔚)
Countries that attended:
Other attendees:
Purpose of the conference
The conference was held to discuss the partitioning of Africa and establish rules to divide resources among the Western countries. The conference did not provide any say for the peoples of Africa.
Results of the conference
The conference legitimized and formalized the process of European colonization of Africa. By 1900, European states "claimed" nearly 90 percent of African territory. 🤬💢
The report reveals the degree to which British companies now control Africa’s key mineral resources, notably gold, platinum, diamonds, copper, oil, gas and coal. It documents how 101 companies listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) — most of them British — have mining operations in 37 sub-Saharan African countries. They collectively control over $1 trillion worth of Africa’s most valuable resources. The UK government has used its power and influence to ensure that British mining companies have access to Africa’s raw materials. This was the case during the colonial period and is still the case today.
While the scale and scope of the UK’s involvement in the exploitation of Africa’s mineral resources is staggering, so too is the trail of social, environmental and human rights abuses left in its wake. 🔚

IKENGA GT 74 (444)
"The Ikenga GT, a luxury grand touring (GT) car developed in the 1960s, remains a remarkable example of automotive design blending African cultural inspiration with modern engineering. Named after Ikenga, the Igbo symbol of personal achievement and success, this car was the brainchild of David Gittens, a Black American designer and photographer who gained recognition in the British automotive industry."
The Ikenga GT is a series of three prototype GT automobile designs that were built in the United Kingdom between 1967 and 1969. The MkI, MkII and MkIII were the three styling iterations.
David Gittens is a Brooklyn-born artist and designer of Igbo ancestry who was a staff photographer at Car and Driver magazine from 1958 to 1964. In 1964 he married and moved to London England, where he did photographic work for advertising and fashion publications. In 1967 he embarked on a career in transportation design. Among his proposed projects were a gas-powered single seat city car, an electric city car, a Reliant-based three-wheeled car, an expandable six-wheeled vehicle, a small car based on the Mini Moke chassis, and a high-performance mid-engined grand touring car that became the Ikenga GT.
". . With the support of talented friends, artists, and engineers, during the very exciting mid-60s while on a creative sojourn in London. The Ikenga GTs went through three stylistic improvements, each of which incorporated the most advanced technlogy of the era - Closed circuit TV for rear vision, electronic accident warning systems, and electronic sensors for parking. Rubber moulding was incorporated in the bumpers and side trim, fluorescent lighting was used for inner-city night driving, and reflective paint was featured in the MK l GT."

Afrofuturism is a cultural aesthetic, philosophy of science, and history that explores the intersection of the African diaspora culture with science and technology. It addresses themes and concerns of the African diaspora through technoculture and speculative fiction, encompassing a range of media and artists with a shared interest in envisioning black futures that stem from Afro-diasporic experiences.
While Afrofuturism is most commonly associated with science fiction, it can also encompass other speculative genres such as fantasy, alternate history, and magic realism. The term was coined by Mark Dery, an American Cultural critic in 1993 and explored in the late 1990s through conversations led by Alondra Nelson.
Ytasha L. Womack, writer of Afrofuturism: The World of Black Sci-Fi and Fantasy Culture, defines it as "an intersection of imagination, technology, the future and liberation". She also follows up with a quote by the curator Ingrid LaFleur who defines it as "a way of imagining possible futures through a black cultural lens." Kathy Brown paraphrases Bennett Capers' 2019 work in stating that Afrofuturism is about "forward thinking as well as backward thinking, while having a distressing past, a distressing present, but still looking forward to thriving in the future."
Others have said that the genre is "fluid and malleable," bringing together technology, African culture, and "other influences."Seminal Afrofuturistic works include the novels of Samuel R. Delany and Octavia Butler; the canvases of Jean-Michel Basquiat and Angelbert Metoyer, and the photography of Renée Cox; the explicitly extraterrestrial mythoi of Parliament-Funkadelic, Herbie Hancock's partnership with Robert Springett and other visual artists, while developing the use of synthesizers, the Jonzun Crew, Warp 9, Deltron 3030, Kool Keith, Sun Ra and the Marvel Comics superhero Black Panther.
Steampunk engineering: Steampunk engineering often includes visible gears and screws, as well as analog clocks, steam-powered machines, rotating propellers, and dials.
Steampunk energy: In addition to steam power, steampunk often explores alternative energy sources like aether, solar power, and sometimes even magic(k).

Chukwuka Chukwuma Ekweani (born 16 July 1995), better known by his stage name Ckay, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and record producer. He is of Igbo descent and from Anambra State. His international hit single "Love Nwantiti", also known as "Love Nwantiti (Ah Ah Ahh)", was released in 2019 by Chocolate City. On 29 March 2022, the song debuted at number one, following the launch of the Billboard Afrobeats chart. On 9 May 2022, it became the first-ever African song to surpass one billion streams on Spotify and has since been deemed "the biggest hit in African history".
"Many people on the internet didn’t even know whose song it was," says the Igbo singer.
Love Nwantiti (Remix) was the longest-running number one song on Shazam globally in 2021, and the second song to ever surpass one million Shazams in a week. On TikTok where "Love Nwantiti" has soundtracked over 3 million videos, people use the song to feel cute or show their playful moves. A dance routine by popular TikToker Tracy Joseph made it easier for the thousands joining the challenge each day.
"It was crazy," says CKay about the initial lack of credit. "There's so many stories around this actually. A lot of Moroccans loved the song so much they started saying on TikTok that it was by some Moroccan artist.
It's just a situation of music bringing the world together and I happen to be the vessel for this to happen." 🪘
